Jessica Boudreaux Houma, LA Death Death, Obituary: Jessica Diane Boudreaux, a beloved wife, mother, teacher, and friend, passed away peacefully on Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at the age of 43, after a courageous battle with ALS. A native of Alabama and a resident of Houma, Louisiana, Jessica’s strength, warmth, and unwavering love left an enduring mark on everyone who had the privilege of knowing her.

She is survived by her devoted husband of 14 years, Jeremy Boudreaux; her children, Mia Donovan, Taylor Boudreaux, Landon Boudreaux, Braxton Boudreaux, and Nora Boudreaux; her father, William “Tony” Hermans, Sr., and wife Catherine “Cat” Hermans; and her siblings, Sandra Ann Hermans, William “Tony” Hermans, Jr. and wife Lauren Messino, and Joshua Janway and wife Melody Janway. She also leaves behind many extended family members, cherished friends, and her beloved students, all of whom will continue to carry her spirit forward.

She was preceded in death by her mother, Cindy Schaeffer Hermans, whose memory remained a source of comfort and strength for Jessica throughout her life.

Jessica was known for her radiant smile, compassionate heart, and dedication to both her family and her students. As a teacher, she inspired curiosity, kindness, and confidence in her classroom. As a wife and mother, she filled her home with laughter, love, and grace. Even through her illness, Jessica’s courage and optimism never wavered—she faced every challenge with faith and resilience, reminding those around her to cherish each moment and to lead with love.

A memorial visitation will be held on Monday, November 10, 2025, at Samart Funeral Home in Gray, from 2:00 p.m. until the memorial service at 4:00 p.m. Family and friends are invited to come together to honor her life and the beautiful legacy she leaves behind.

The family extends heartfelt gratitude to the Team Gleason Foundation, the ALS Foundation, Haydel Memorial Hospice, and all who provided care, comfort, and support during Jessica’s battle with ALS.

Though her journey on earth has ended, Jessica’s spirit will forever live on—in her children’s laughter, in the lessons she taught, and in the hearts of all who were touched by her love.

May her soul rest in eternal peace.
